Anna and Noah, together with the Home Choice Foundation, donated crates of children's books and toys to our Sikhula Sonke Toy Library. The children who visit the library really love their visits, and being able to take part in the handover was extra special. Several of the children opened up their readers straight away and started reading - leaving the "big people" to chat.
Our first Cluster workshop took place at Khunqu yesterday. Elizabeth, our Social Worker, facilitated the topics of "Getting to know yourself" and "Getting to know each other." Both new and old caregivers are so excited about the programme.
The Sikhula Sonke team took some time last week to strategise and revise plans for the year. With programmes already in full swing, it was good to pause, evaluate and ensure that the organisation's schedule and events for the year are consolidated and documented.
