Sikhula Sonke has started with the conversion of an abandoned public recreational space in UT Gardens. This will become a new strategic multi-function Centre with a play park, two classrooms, a kitchen and a storeroom.
The UT Gardens Centre will operate as a safe learning space and shelter for children in our Emthonjeni Playgroup Outreach programme, as well as a meeting and training centre for the Imbiza Family Community Motivator programme which runs the 1st 1000 days programme supporting mothers and young children from conception to 18 months of age.
Our thanks to Solon Foundation and to Claytile for their generous support in this project!
We welcome all donations towards this project - you can give via SnapScan or EFT. Please add the reference "UT Gardens" to your donation.
